Anastasia
Anastasia is an animated movie about a girl who got separated from her family during a revolution or revolt in Russia. Everyone in her family except her grandmother were killed. She suffered from amnesia so she didn’t look for her grandmother thinking that she was not important.
Meanwhile, the grandmother was offering a reward for anyone who could bring her granddaughter to her safely in Paris. A boy who had once worked at the palace, now a man, along with another ex- member of the royal court scheme to send an impostor and claim the reward.
They search for an adequate young woman to train to be her and after a failed audition found the real Anastasia. She of course didn’t remember who she was but plays along since she only wants to leave the country.
I can’t say what happens next without ruining it for you but it has a happy ending.
The movie has the old ‘Disney’ look to it, but the story is nice. It would be a good movie for grandparents to show grandchildren since nothing would offend either party.
